There is also an increased need for these types of certifications in the current economic climate. A business that does not comply with government mandates or company policy can quickly find themselves facing stiff penalties. When penalties are imposed on a company, it is nearly always followed by financial loss. Therefore, every company that wishes to remain solvent must comply with governmental and regulatory policy requirements.

Are there any alternatives to HR CI PRI requirements? The short answer is no, as currently there is not. If you want to learn more about other training and certification programs available, please contact either the Association to Advance Collegiate Nursing (AACN), Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAHEP), or the Commission on Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (CATCH). Each of these organizations offers a variety of alternatives to the HR CI program.

What about online courses? The short answer is yes. Today, a wide variety of colleges and universities offer online courses that meet both general and clinical requirements of the PRI and other CI certifications. Although the course work is not identical across all colleges and universities, all offer a good education. Many employers look for candidates who have at least a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Should I contact the State Licensing Board for my state? If you are applying for employment within the United States, then you should contact your State Licensing Board to ensure that you meet all of the necessary requirements to enroll in and take the test. You will want to make sure that you meet the general eligibility requirements, including citizenship and age. If you do not, your application may be denied.

Who are eligible for this program? The National Security Council invites all United States citizens who meet the general eligibility requirements to apply for this program. In order to qualify, you must meet one of the following: PRI certification with an associate degree, or completion and passing of a RN to BSN degree program at an accredited, degree-awarding university. There is a limit on the number of credits that you can take towards PRI. If you meet the eligibility requirements but choose not to submit an application, you will be allowed a grace period to complete the program without submitting an application. This time does not count towards graduation.

What are the benefits of enrolling in a PRI program? PRI offers qualified nurses the opportunity to obtain advanced degrees. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to accept a national job as a nurse practitioner. The salary and benefits of this position will vary depending on your location and experience level. Many PRI graduates have gone on to become senior physicians in various hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.

So, what are the specific state requirements for this program? Each state has its own unique set of education and work experience requirements. You will need to check with your state’s health board for specifics.

How do I find out if I am eligible? To be certified as an RN you must pass all five of the following sections: Mathematics, Health Science, Psychology, Nursing, and chemistry. In order to be eligible for licensing in any one of the programs offered by HRRI, you must first complete the state-approved course requirements. If your state does not require licensing, you should contact your state board for more information.

Will I receive financial assistance for my education at HRRI? The majority of states offer financial assistance to graduates who choose to participate in a PRI program. As part of its community service partnerships, HRRI has agreements with many colleges and universities to provide a monetary incentive for students to enter the PRI program after graduation. Financial aid is only available for those students that complete all five of the aforementioned sections. In addition to financial assistance, students may also be awarded merit-based tuition reductions, scholarship allowances, and subsidized room and board.

Are there other ways to fulfill my state’s requirements for rhci certification? Yes! Many other institutions have established partnerships with PRI to provide additional opportunities for those who have been unable to attain the rich licensing required to work in the United States. An example of this includes Arizona State University, which has entered into an agreement with PRI to enhance its workforce by training its own employees in its race courses. Other institutions include Villanova University, Temple University, and Western Kentucky University.
