Is HR certification recognized globally by more than half of countries in 2006. We compared the number of HR certifications issued routinely in 2014 to the number of those issued in the previous decade (data from HPC.org, data from the World Health Organization). We also examined changes in HR certifications from national to city-based registration. Finally, we evaluated the statistical impact of geographical location during registration in several common metrics. This work was undertaken as part of the Health Preparedness Project for Global Health, which is conducting a study on factors that predict public health mortality patterns. This project initiated in October 2013 by HPC has published a technical report on an application of HRs for public health studies with HR applications including national, city and state-based studies.
