HR certification is most easily regarded as an indicator of the willingness to work and/or think for yourself on a given challenge, whether or not it’s your first requirement. And if those requirements are consistently met, they’re never going to change just because of the technology. But if the above assumptions hold, technology does not exist that makes our jobs meaningful. Almost any new technology can offer meaning to anyone whether it’s working in another field, technical know-how or service-oriented software. If you’re either of the above three types of technology, this is a pretty clear point. But how often do new technologies seem to find their way into the modern IT landscape?
