There has been a lot of discussion recently between HRcia andshrm, about which is better. It started when an HR professional was asked by a client what was the difference between HRcia andshrm. The answer was that HRcia certifications were more specialized and reflected the higher level of specialization and professionalism that was expected of HR professionals. On the other hand, shrm exams are relatively easier for most people to take, and it’s a more generic sort of training.

This is a valid point. In fact, a lot of people would agree that a degree or certification in Human Resources is generally a good idea. However, I think one of the most important distinctions between these two certifications is that HRcia is designed to certify competency in general business practices, whileshrm focuses much more on specific skills and processes related to HR.

In many ways, this can be seen as a trade-off. In order to get your HRcia certification, you basically have to be good at general business practices. But with shrm certifications, there isn’t nearly as much requirement for general competency. This means that there will be a lower barrier for most people who would like to get into this field. This may be a net positive for many businesses.

But this lower barrier means that HRcia is not necessarily a very good certification program. For one thing, it does not require the same amount of coursework as the better-known programs like the Human Resources Information Management Association (Hrmia) or the American Institute for Advancement in Professional Services (AIPS). Many Aips and also do require a certain number of credits in phri and aphr, and they tend to be very hard to get if you’re a non-degree seeking student. If you’re looking to get into human resources, an HRcia certification might not be the best choice for you.

This doesn’t mean that HRcia and phri and a few other training courses are worthless, though. There are some excellent courses out there. For example, the Human Resource Management Institute (HRMI) offers their Human Resources Certificate Program and the Institute of Human Resources Management (HRIM). Both of these programs are accredited by the National Association for Business Degree Programs (NABMP), which would make them very good training for potential employers to accept.

On the other hand, if you really want to be certified in Human Resources, you should really invest in your education. You’ll pay more, but you’ll get that certification more quickly. Plus, you’ll find that employers look more highly at candidates who have more training and experience. They see this as a sign of a person’s competency in the workplace.

So what kind of training is necessary to get a certification? First, you have to know how to analyze and evaluate information. You have to be able to read the worksheets from different tests and figure out which ones apply to the job you’re applying for. You also have to know about recruiting and hiring as well as keeping track of the latest advances in technology. If you want to make sure that you’re on the right path, then you should take classes in human resource management, especially from a reputable university.

As you can see, there is a lot more difference between HRcia and shrm than just the acronyms. If you want to be a great HR administrator, you have to go beyond the acronyms and learn what’s important to the business. You have to keep up with the latest trends in business.
